The KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), Bhubaneswar was established on 20th November 2006 as a constituent of KIIT, Bhubaneswar. It offers 2 years’ MBA (Rural Management) programme with triple benefits namely knowledge, experience and career: the knowledge through courses in Rural Management domain, experience through its field segments and career through placement programme. So far, we have offered exciting careers to 462 students who passed out from KSRM.

In last 10 years of its existence KSRM has constantly worked to improve the rigor of its programmes to offer a portfolio of triple benefits to students. Having grown vertically in terms of the quality of our programme, we are now attempting to expand horizontally to cover all the geographies and streams of graduation within the country. The larger objective is to bring different perspectives and thoughts to Rural Management discipline and holistically develop Rural India to eliminate inequality of all kinds.

Application Options:

Students can apply to KSRM based on the following:

• KIITEE Management-2018 (It is a separate national level examination conducted by KIIT School of Rural Management & KIIT School of Management) or

• Other National Level tests such as CAT / MAT / GMAT / CMAT / XAT

Eligibility:

MBA (Rural Management): Graduate in any discipline recognized by the AIU with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and having minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) with valid  KIITEE Management / KIITEE / CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT scores. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University/ Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.

The students who are appearing for final year graduation exams are also eligible to apply and will be given provisional admission subject to submission of their final results before 30th September 2018.

Basis of selection: Candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis  KIITEE Management, KIITEE / CAT / XAT /  CMAT / MAT and other exam scores for appearing in Group Discussion (GD) and / or Personal Interview (PI) at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore,  and Mumbai. The final selection shall be based on these KIITEE Management / KIITEE / CAT / XAT / CMAT exam scores, career marks and performance in GD & PI. Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer containing the terms and conditions of admission.  The selected candidates shall confirm and accept the admission with terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme and submit the Acceptance Letter in its prescribed format.
