Who is it for?
The Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship is open to all individuals who are either considering embarking on an entrepreneurial career pathway or have taken the first steps of their entrepreneurial journey. This may involve forming a business based around new technology or service, developing an agricultural set up, pursuing an opportunity in the arts or creative media, or taking an innovation forward within a larger or more established organisation. Also individuals who want to scale their family business to new heights can enroll for the course.
- An entrepreneurial individual who wishes to advance his/her ambitions, or aspiring to start or grow a venture.
- A recent graduate who wants to acquire the knowledge, skills and aptitudes to facilitate move from the academic to business world by acquiring an entrepreneurial perspective.
Course Objectives
The objectives of this accelerated, rigorous and application-oriented course are to:
- Impart comprehensive knowledge of an entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Develop first generation entrepreneur by building skills in initiating and growing an enterprise
- Enable family business successor as change agent to encourage competitiveness and growth of business
- Nurture intrapreneurial aspiration s and enhance compatible capabilities.
Admissions Criteria
Intake Capacity:
Intake Capacity: The approved intake capacity is 120 seats for full-time PGDM –BE. Over and above the approved intake of 120 students for the programme, the Institute has received the approval from AICTE for an additional intake of 15% (i.e. 18 seats) for Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Foreign Nationals in PGDM-BE Programme for PIOs and Foreign Nationals from the academic session 2013-15. AICTE Approval for 5 % NRI seats (within the sanctioned intake of 120) has also been approved.

PIO :
"Persons of Indian origin (PIO)" shall mean the persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan & Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his/her parents or any of his/her grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India of Sec.2 (b) of the Citizenship Act, (57 of 1955).
