About IFMR LEAD

IFMR LEAD is a non-profit, research organisation that conducts high-quality, actionable research and evidence-based outreach to inform development policy and practice. IFMR LEAD collaborates with policymakers, practitioners and researchers to identify development challenges and design solutions using innovative, multidisciplinary approaches. Since its inception in 2005, IFMR LEAD has conducted over 175 studies and evaluations.

About TIPFD

The challenges of development in the 21stcentury can no longer be addressed by ‘business as usual’. Their increasing complexity and urgency calls for a fresh, multidisciplinary approach that cuts across skill sets. Policies, programs and initiatives must be in sync with the changing needs and aspirations of people, and grounded in results-oriented methods to generate impact at scale. We are excited to offer aspiring researchers an opportunity to invest in the future of skills, through our training program ‘Total Immersion Programme in Finance and Development 2.0’. The two-week training programme will equip participants with multidisciplinary approaches, skills and tools to address the rising challenges of development.
