GWS2019 is a premier forum in Asia for the presentation of new trends, advances and research results in the fields of Gender & Women Studies.  More than more 400 presenters from different corners of the globe have participated this education & leaning event since 2013. The participants will get an opportunity to taste the culture of the hosting country through a full day post-conference networking tour.

To achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls is one of the major goal for sustainable development. Therefore 6th International Conference on Gender & Women Studies is a very important platform to hear global initiatives, challenges, Issues and achievements.

GWS2019 hopes to provide an interesting platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, policy makers and post-graduate students, to share knowledge, exchange ideas and establish academic relationships.

We welcome individual paper presentations, panel sessions, round table discussions, performances, short films and posters. Your participation in GWS2019 may be under Oral, Poster & Virtual categories. Your presentation may include (Original research papers, published article, Dissertations/PhD thesis, Research abstracts etc...)

Abstract Guidelines

If you wish to present your paper in the thematic sessions, we invite you to submit an abstract. The length of the abstract should not exceed 250 words. It should be written in English, in format Times New Roman, 12 and submitted through the E-mail: abstract@womenstudies.info

In the abstract header it is necessary to specify:

  • The title of the paper
  • Name and surname of the author
  • Organization/institution and contact details (address, phone, e-mail) of the author

The abstract must contain the following elements:

  • The subject of the paper
  • The aim of the paper
  • Basic themes that would be covered by the paper
  • In case of empirical research, it is necessary to provide information about the method, sample, who and when has carried out the research.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Registered Participants are kindly invited to submit full text papers giving a description of their research, including results, tables, figures, and references. Full text papers (Word.doc) will be accepted only by email.  All submitted papers should articulate original, unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Papers submitted to the Conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must follow the style of the Conference and will undergo both peer review and editing. All ‘others work’ you have included in your paper must incorporate in-text citation.
