This free online course is ideal for professionals who are already in a health-related or care-giving occupation and who want to learn more about social work, and for learners who are interested in social work as a career.

Social workers are committed professionals who work in partnership with individuals, families and groups experiencing marginalisation, disadvantage or social difficulties.

You will have a good knowledge of the day-to-day experience of a social worker and learn an approach called ‘constructive” social work. How to analyse evidence and arguments using social science techniques will be outlined.
