Dasra Social Impact Leadership program (DSI LP)

Dasra is excited to invite leaders from the development sector (NGOs/Social Businesses/Intermediaries) to apply to the Dasra Social Impact Leadership program (DSI LP).The program is crafted for the needs of founders, executive directors and senior management to help strengthen their leadership styles, enable stronger decision-making capabilities and help leaders become more inclusive. Using the hallmark Harvard Business School (HBS) case study methodology, the program delivers the insights, vision and skills needed to help leaders expand their potential and impact of their social enterprise. The program also serves as a platform to learn from peers, share best practices and create a stronger network.

What is DSI LP?

Dasra launched the first cohort of DSI LP in 2014 with the objective to support India's leading social organizations scale their operations and increase their impact. In the last four years, Dasra has worked with over 170 organizations such as Akanksha Foundation, Educate Girls, Barefoot College, CDD Society, Swasti, Swayam, The Hunger Project among others. Looking at the success of this program, we are continuing with the next cohort and we strongly encourage promising organizations & leaders to apply. Hear what our alumni have to say.

What can you expect? 

The program consists of 4 modules that focus on: Strengthening Leadership & Strategy; Building the Organization’s Brand; Developing Employees and Managing People; and Focusing on Sustainability & Legacy. In addition to this, the program also focuses on effective leadership/managing self through behavioral and occupational assessment tools such as Birkman, building in coaching & mentoring methodologies, setting organizations and personal goals, and analyzing usual and stress behaviors to become stronger leaders.

Is there a fee?

Yes. The program costs us INR 6.0 lakh to deliver. We have raised funds through our supporters and subsidized the participant fee. On selection, a cheque of INR 1.0 lakh is required as confirmation to join the program. This cost covers Tuition fee for the Harvard curriculum and Birkman Assessment Tool, along with accommodation and meals for 4 weeks.

Important Dates

Module 1: 7th to 10th Aug, 2018

Module 2: 20th to 23rd Nov, 2018

Module 3: 15th to 18th Jan, 2019

Module 4: 4th to 7th Mar, 2019

Submit a completed application by Thursday, 28th June 2018. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please apply early as seats are limited. We will announce the final cohort between 9-11thJuly, 2018.
