About Punjab Youth Leaders Program (PYLP):

PYLP is a 2-year full-time leadership program that brings together individuals who have shown exceptional leadership potential. The fellowship will provide them access to network and resources required to amplify their leadership competencies.  

The work of a PYLP Fellow will primarily focus on improving the quality of government schools in Punjab. As a guiding principle, we aim to strengthen existing government structures and mechanisms in the education system. We support teachers and block/district officials in developing an equitable learning environment for children and focusing on their learning outcomes as part of our program operations.At the end of the program, we envision these young leaders to develop high socio-cultural competence and grow as public problem-solvers.

The candidate should be willing to move to Punjab and work in rural or peri-urban areas. PYLP is flagship program of Sanjhi Sikhiya, a Punjab focused registered NGO. For more information please visit www.pylp.in

We are looking for a young, dynamic individual who believes in taking responsibility and is committed to:

• Transform Punjab
• Develop high socio-cultural competencies
• Grow as a future leader of Punjab

Qualification & Experience:

• At least 2 years of rich work experience, preferably in education
• Minimum graduate degree from a recognized university
• Maximum age limit is 30 years (as on May 1, 2019)

• Connect with and learn from mentors from various fields
• Travel across Punjab and meet change-makers
• Develop your idea and become a Social Entrepreneur
