The Akshaya Patra Fellowship

The Akshaya Patra Foundation would like to encourage young leaders and future social entrepreneurs to fuel the dreams of children through our FIRST fellowship programme. This programme will cover learning and development, WASH, soft skill training amongst many other health and nutrition awareness initiatives. Thus, giving the Akshaya Patra beneficiary children hope for a better future.

The fellowship is an eight-month management fellowship programme, an opportunity for professionals with excellent leadership skills to work with Akshaya Patra and create an impact in the lives of our beneficiaries.

The fellowship will be an integral part of Akshaya Patra’s flagship initiative, “Giving Every Dream a Chance”. The initiative was launched in 2016, featuring three beneficiaries. They were given the necessary mentorship and training through professionals in the field of their choice. Encouraged by the success of the pilot, the initiative has scaled up to provide training and mentorship to more than 300 children in the field of Dance, Theatre, Origami, Culinary and Football, with the support of other organisations and individual mentors. This year we intend to touch the lives of 5000+ beneficiaries across five states.

APPLICATION PROCESS :

• Location: Jaipur/Bhubaneshwar/Hyderabad/Gujarat/Mysore/Hubballi
• Starting Date: 30th July 2018
• Ending Date: Based on location-specific timelines (latest Feb 2019)
• Compensation: ₹10,000/- per month per person

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

• Qualification: Minimum Graduation, MBA preferable
• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years 
• Work Experience: at least  one - two years of work experience
