Teach A ManTo Fish is one of the UK's leading charities in its field, providing young people from around the world with the opportunity to develop 21st century skills through  school-business model. The charity was set up in 2006 by Nik Kafka. The vision is that, through the school-businesses, young people will gain business skills and entrepreneurial experience that will help them to succeed in school, work and life.

About the Event:

The school enterprise challenge is a free educational program that teaches business and life skills .It supports teachers and students to set up a real business at their school. Any school from any country can take part. The school Enterprise Challenge is run by the educational charity Teach a Man To Fish. There is $50000 in prizes available for the most entrepreneurial schools , teachers and students.

The Whole School And Your Community Benefit Too. All schools that complete the programme will receive a certificate to recognise their achievement. $50,000worth of prizes for the most enterprising schools around the world. You'll be joining a global community of enterprising schools .In 2018, over 9,000 schools across the world registered to take part. It connect schools through WhatsApp and provide teachers with business mentors to support them on the journey.

Every school will have the opportunity to earn their Award Level Certificate (Bronze, Silver or Gold) to officially recognise their achievements. To do this, you must complete the three steps in your level and meet the Achievement Criteria.

Eligibility:

The program is open to all schools from all countries. Participants can register for free on our website. Once registered you will have access to all our educational materials and your online account to upload your submission.

How to apply:

A teacher at your school will be responsible for facilitating participation in the challenge by guiding to complete 3 steps:

• Coming up with a business idea
• Writing  a business plan
• Launching the school business, making sales and writing an annual report.
• Schools who submit all 3 steps but don’t quite meet the Achievement Criteria will receive a Progress Certificate to recognise their efforts so far. You’ll also be given feedback so that you can come back the following year and hopefully achieve your full Award Level.
