HPCL hands over 30 compactor bins to GVMC

As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, HPCL-Visakh Refinery has handed over 30 compactor bins worth Rs 10 lakhs to Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation in a function held on Thursday. Visakhapatnam West MLA PGVR Naidu and executive director of Visakh Refinery GSVSSS Prasad Sarma jointly handed over the bins to the GVMC officials.
Addressing the gathering, MLA PVGR Naidu lauded the initiatives taken up by HPCL under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan for creating awareness among the public on Swachh Visakha and also applauded HPCL for various activities for the development of education and health in Visakhapatnam under CSR activities. The HPCL has become an inspirational PSU in implementing various activities under CSR programmes, Naidu added.
Speaking on the occasion, refinery executive director Prasad Sarma said that HPCL has been working for the benefit of the needy and focusing on education and health in Visakhapatnam. As part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, HPCL has taken up initiative of repairing drains at Malkapuram and other locations and also in coordination with GVMC.
