JanaJal to install 75 Water ATMs in NDMC, New Delhi

JanaJal India’s first dedicated water services company has installed the first 26 water ATMs out of a total of 75 water ATMs in the NDMCin the heart of New Delhi . The project is expected to be one of the largest clusters of water ATMs in any urban area in India and will serve at least 50,000 citizens daily.
Phase 1 of this project will see 26 Water ATMs commissioned at Old RK Ashram Marg, RML Hospital,Bhai Veer Singh Marg, Barakhamba Lane, Mandir Marg Near N.P School, Vinay Marg near Bhairav Mandir , G.P.O, PT Pant Marg opposite church, Rakab Ganj Gurdwara, Church Road, Safdarjung Hospital, R.K Ashram Marg, Manas Marg Near Bapu Dham Market, Palika Service, Kushak Road, Mandir Marg, Kali Bari, PT. Pant Marg , Near Kendriya Bhandar, South Avenue Opposite Mother dairy, Shankar Road, Niti Marg Near Petrol Pump, Vinay Marg near Police Play Ground, Jaswant Singh Marg, BR Camp, RJ Sindhiya Marg, Shri Vinayak Mandir and Teen Murti near Nehru Planetarium.
The plan is to rapidly increase the footprint of water ATMs that can make safe water available, accessible and affordable to communities. Prepaid cards are being introduced so that people can avail of cashless form of transacting and benefit from safe water on a regular basis.
JanaJal is already operating nearly 101 water ATMs at various railway stations in Mumbai region spreading across Maharashtra and Gujarat in association with IRCTC and Indian Railways. The company is also working on installing 200 water ATMs in Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam in a combination of fixed and mobile water ATMs.

The company has already provided access to safe drinking water to more than 80 million beneficiaries till date and aims to serve one billion people by 2020.
