The Young India Fellowship (YIF) Class of 2019-2020

About the Fellowship
The Young India Fellowship (YIF), one of the most desired fellowship programme convened by Ashoka University, is a one year multidisciplinary postgraduate diploma programme in Liberal Studies. The Fellowship brings together a group of 300 bright young individuals who show exceptional intellectual ability and leadership potential from across the country, and trains them to become socially committed agents of change.
A Young India Fellow could be someone who has:-
- A deep-rooted ambition to solve problems and make an impact on society
- Passion for an idea or issue which could have wider social/business/academic implications
- The humility to believe that they need to learn more
- The willingness to think differently and chart a new course
- A demonstrated ability to overcome challenges
- Qualities of integrity, self-awareness, energy, initiative and open-mindedness
- An above-average academic record
Stipend: Need Based Scholarships
Eligibility:
- A recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline
- Maximum of 28 years of age on 31st May, 2019
- Strong academic record and extra-curricular engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
YIF has a rolling admissions process and is split into three rounds. Each round accepts applications within a specified time-frame and selects Fellows from the pool of applications in that round.

Anant Fellowship For Young Leaders For Creating Unique Built Environment

About the Fellowship:
Anant Fellowship is a one-year full-time post-graduate flagship program of Anant National University, Ahmadabad designed as a multi-disciplinary immersion to introduce young practitioners and students to new ideas, knowledge, and skills to question, evaluate, invent and redefine the Built Environment. The Fellowship has been designed to meet the needs of practitioners who wish to further their knowledge and impact without interrupting their careers an Anant Fellow you can expect to:
- Enhance your technical and core skills in architecture, design, and planning
- Be trained to think broadly and deeply across topics like Green Urbanism, Earth Based Construction Techniques, Transportation, Anthropology, Sociology, and Economics, among others

Eligibility:
- Open to students from all backgrounds. Preference will be given to students from the disciplines of architecture, design, planning, environmental sciences, civil and construction engineering, and relevant social science disciplines.
- Applicants must have a sound academic record and should have successfully completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree before the start of the Fellowship.
- Applicants must be able to show a demonstrated commitment to improving the Built Environment and an understanding of the issues pertaining to the area.

The SIFF Fellowship Programme For Young Minds to work on Sustainable Finance
Organization: - Sustainable India Finance Facility (SIFF)

About The Fellowship:
The SIFF Fellowship Programme offers bright and young minds from across the world a unique opportunity to work for a period of 12 months on sustainable finance and interact with a range of stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
Fellows have the chance to learn from experts from institutions like UN Environment, World Agro forestry Centre and BNP Paribas. They receive interdisciplinary guidance that enables them to work on issues such as watersheds and biodiversity conservation in Western India, air quality and renewable energy in Northern India and sustainable smallholder agriculture in Southern India providing a real world understanding that can enhance linkages with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and support efforts of national and local governments to meet their inclusive growth and Paris Agreement targets.
Each Fellow is assigned a specific focus area in conservation, strategic communications, biodiversity, energy, subsidies, market off-take, innovative finance or agriculture based on their qualifications and interests and work on a diverse set of tasks including field visits, data collection, environmental assessments, organizing workshops, participating in meetings, developing policy briefs, authoring mainstream media articles and drafting communication materials.
Stipend: Paid
The fellows would be paid a monthly stipend of INR 40,000
Eligibility:-
Applicants are enrolled in a degree programme in a graduate school (second university degree or higher) at the time of application and during the Fellowship OR have just completed a graduate or higher level academic programme and are interested in acquiring project implementation, research and sustainable development experience. SIFF accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the year.

William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India
Organization: - The American India Foundation

About the Fellowship: The William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service supported by American Indian Foundation (AIF) is an immersive, 10-month volunteer service program matching young professionals with development organizations. Fellows work on scalable and sustainable development projects in the fields of education, livelihoods, and public health.
The AIF Clinton Fellowship is helping to create a community of socially engaged, global citizens dedicated to positive change and support AIF partner organizations at a crucial moment of scalability by meeting their human resource and organizational needs through skills-sharing, training, and capacity-building, through both U.S and India efforts.
Fellows serve on an annual basis from September 1st to July 2nd with development organizations across India where Each Fellow is paired with a project supervisor at the host organization and with AIF staff member for support throughout the project. During the selection process, we take note of the skill sets and career aspirations of potential Fellows to match them with appropriate AIF partner organizations.
Stipend: Paid
AIF provides domestic travel from their hometowns in India, insurance coverage, emergency support, and a monthly living stipend. The stipend covers basic living expenses such as rent, meals and incidentals, and local transportation related to a Fellow’s project.
Eligibility: - Candidates must:
- Be a U.S. or Indian citizen, or a U.S. permanent resident
- Be between the ages of 21 and 34 on September 1, 2019
- Have completed an undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree before the start of the program on September 1, 2019

IIM Kozhikode Distinguished Visiting Scholars Fellowship

About The Fellowship:
In order to enhance academic collaborations with renowned experts from leading international institutions, IIM Kozhikode invites distinguished international scholars for 3 months fellowship at any time during June 2019 to May 2020 academic year ,with sustained track record in research and teaching in any area of management or relevant allied areas. While inter-disciplinary interest is welcome, academic activities at IIM Kozhikode are currently organized across the following Academic Areas: Economics, Finance, Accounting & Control, Humanities and Liberal Arts in Management, Information Technology & Systems, Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Quantitative Methods & Operations Management, and Strategic Management.
