Nucleus CSR enforcing Quality Education in the underserved districts of Noida

For the nation to prosper, we need to relentlessly focus on bringing practical changes in the ecosystem.

The Pioneer in Retail, Nucleus Software’s CSR team has taken up multiple endeavors to improve the community welfare. Under their Corporate Social Responsibility, they have made persistent efforts for the last 3 years to ameliorate the state of education in the underserved pockets of Noida. The NSF tab program started in 2016 and has successfully equipped more than 6000 children with quality education and the teachers with effective TLMs that helped them evolve as good facilitators! This program has been a success as the needs of the school, the management, and the learners have been considered always.

They have recurrently heard of a dismal performance of the Government schools in India, but with persistent efforts of the government and private companies the conditions have improved.

To ensure a good learning experience for the kids and innovative teaching methodologies for the educators, Nucleus partnered with Foster And Forge Foundation to conduct training programs for the ‘Beacons’ or the government school teachers each year. Foster & Forge also conducts a Beacon Educator Fellowship that enables the transformation of selected teachers from government schools with the intent to awaken in them an alternate vision for their own future as educators and for their students by leveraging innovation in learning and engagement.

Children are taught through CG Slate Tablets, powered by ConveGenius- A social enterprise providing quality education in the K-10 space. More than 2,00,000children pan-India have been using CG Tablets for learning. The whole new vertical of Tablet Learning was introduced to ensure teachers get a better aid to teach and the common issues such as attendance and engagement of children in the school are lessened. Further, personalised reports are generated through the tablets and sent to the management. This ensures transparency in the system by showing actual data for analysis of the learning outcomes and keeps a check so that the issues can resolved at the earliest.

An overall improvement was witnessed in the government schools. Teachers also shared that they have been able to spend more time with the students in classroom. The program has assisted the teachers all around the year by enabling the interest of children to study.
