Job Responsibilities

  • Lead public policy strategy for India/South East Asia for Google’s Consumer product areas, including working with cross-functional teams to support our global business objectives and drive favorable policy and regulatory outcomes.
  • Manage policy projects on a host of issues affecting Google’s Consumer product areas, including user privacy, content, and cross-industry relations.
  • Work with Product, Business, and Engineering teams and the regional policy teams in India and South East Asia to advise on the policy and political implications of product development in Google’s K&I product areas.
  • Work within a global team to develop public policy strategies and positions for Google’s K&I products, including the creation of materials supporting advocacy on those positions.
  • Engage with policy makers, industry players, and key opinion formers to shape policy and political discussion that impact Google’s business objectives.

Eligibility Criteria- 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, or related industry associations

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with internet technologies and the policy/political environments that surround them
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently
  • Ability to work effectively on a team with a broad range of backgrounds and with different levels of experience
  • Ability to understand and manage complex technical and regulatory issues, lead campaigns, and mentor team members

The Centers for International Projects Trust (CIPT) seeks to recruit one ‘Knowledge Management and Documentation Officer’. Under the supervision of the Director, the officer will work with  staff and partners of CIPT to provide communications and knowledge management services for getting the organization’s messages and information out to various stakeholders across different formats such as its content creation, publications, reports, website and social media presence. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop original content, policy briefs, conference reports and summarise research finding and knowledge products for diversified audience including policy makers, academician and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough research on water, agriculture, climate change and sustainable development related topics (combing online sources, interviews and studies and publications) and generate new ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication. 
  • Regularly produce various content types including research outputs, blogs, white papers and social media posts and edit content produced by other members of the team. 

Requirements & Skills:

Education: Master’s degree in English, journalism, communication  or related field

Experience :

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant occupational area. Prior experience on the above responsibilities will have added advantage.
  • Proven work experience as a creative content writer, communication & knowledge developer.
  • Experience of conducting  research and data drive writing using multiple sources; has portfolio of published articles.
