V-Mart will give wings to your dream of a bright future

V-Mart is one of the biggest retail chains in India with more than 150 stores spanning across 14 states in India. As a part of its corporate social responsibility, V-Mart, in association with FUEL (Friends Union for Energising Lives), the prime implementing partner for its CSR initiatives, has launched the "V-Mart Ujjwal Bhavishya" an initiative providing a scholarship to the economically disadvantaged sections of the society.

FUEL is a credible non-profit organization which provides career guidance and skilling to students throughout India, having a track record of reaching 1 million students in 13 states across India. Some of their flagship programs include EduConnect, Nurture Merit Scholarship, Ahead of Times Program and Skilling.

It has developed a platform, ‘GyanDaan’, an extended branch, which stems from the understanding that the youth today are the most valuable asset of India, aiming at shaping the future by creating future leaders and empowering youth by providing resources. The organization aims to fuel the dreams of deserving young students and eventually fulfil their ambitions, leading them to a bright future. GyanDaan believes in ‘genius is equally distributed but the opportunity is not', thus, deserving students succeed not only for hard work and vigour but also for their consistent dedication and commitment.

Following the principle, the "Ujjwal Bhavishya" Program aims to help the meritorious students coming from the economically disadvantaged background, forced to discontinue education due to financial constraints. The initiative intends to provide a scholarship of rupees 10,000 each to 750 students from the economically disadvantaged sections of the society, paving a path for the students to fulfil their dream of a bright future.

FUEL, through its Career Counselling and Guidance initiative, will play an active role in identifying such meritorious students in collaboration with the schools.
