‘Cure With Compassion’ message of positivity on World Happiness Day

On the occasion of World Happiness Day, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd in association with doctors in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh spread the message of happiness and positivity to all the people staying at home in isolation.

With their campaign ‘Cure With Compassion’, raised awareness regarding how people, especially those suffering from existing neuropsychological conditions, can stay positive and happy during these times where people are working from home and cannot socialize.  Doctors from Baroda and Lucknow shared tips on how to cope emotionally and mentally in this pandemic.

“In times of such crisis you will get a lot of news and fake news from various mediums. It is important to avoid panic and fear. Take a break from digital mediums. Shut off news, stop reading WhatsApp messages about COVID-19. Instead listen to music, read a book or meditate. It will help you stay positive.” Dr Pradip Naik from Baroda shared.

“Make the best use of this time by getting in touch with your loved ones. Talk to a friend. Play indoor games with your family. They are your biggest strength. Even though you cannot visit, get online and have a video chat with your relatives. This will keep your spirits high and keep you motivated.” Dr Harjeet Singh and Dr Priyadarshi from Lucknow talked about the importance of staying connected.

Dr Parul Prasad from Lucknow asked everyone to stick to their routines “Even though you are working from home, stick to your schedule. Give yourself enough breaks and eat healthy food at fixed intervals. Staying at home might disrupt your schedule but ensure that you follow your daily routine at home. This will help you bring some normalcy in this situation.”

While Dr Samyak Tiwari from Lucknow talks about the importance of exercise and healthy diet “While you might be stuck at home, make time to go for a walk outside, stretch and eat a healthy diet. We all know indulging in physical activity releases endorphins that are responsible for positivity. So stay active!”

“Don’t forget to be grateful. One tip I find very helpful is to write down three things every day that I’m thankful. Counting your blessings during these tough times will remind you of the positive times ahead. Finally remember, this too shall pass.” Dr Rajkumar from Varanasi concluded.
