3rd National Social Enterprise Idea Challenge

Azim Premji University was established in Karnataka by the Azim Premji University Act 2010 as a not-for-profit University. The beginnings of the University are in the learning and experience of a decade of work in elementary education by the Azim Premji Foundation.

The Social Enterprise Cell of Azim Premji University invites social impact ideas from students of Colleges, Universities and Research institutions for the 3^rd National Social Enterprise Idea Challenge to be held on Saturday, October 13th 2018 (In Bangalore).

The Cell organizes the Idea Challenge every year with a purpose to provide students an opportunity to explore social entrepreneurship and share their innovative ideas in a rigorous and competitive manner. The event also acts as a great networking platform for young minds to meet each other, exchange thoughts and showcase their talent and skills to some of the early stage mentors and funders.

Eligibility: Students of Colleges, Universities and Research bodies with an Idea for Social Impact is eligible to Apply. The Best Ideas will be judged on the basis of feasibility, operational and revenue model, the team strength and willingness to take the Idea forward by the team.

Process: 

The teams should register by clicking on https://bit.ly/2LOGRC8 .  Once a team registers they will receive an Idea form to be duly filled and submitted as an attachment by September 5, 2018.

Format: 15 best teams will be shortlisted by our Internal Panel and they will be invited to personally present their Ideas in front of a distinguished panel of Jury on October 13, 2018.

Prize: The yearly event provides recognition to the selected student teams besides an opportunity to win cash prizes worth Rs. 50,000/-
