Adolescence is a phase of rapid growth and development during which physical, physiological and behavioural changes occur. Majority of the young and growing children have poor knowledge and lack of awareness about physical and psychological changes that occur during adolescence and the ill-health affecting them. Lack of accurate information, absence of proper guidance and ignorance are the major barriers. To help them lead a healthy lifestyle or a good health, it is important to create awareness and educate them about their health needs. Good health is about living a healthy, long and active life. But how one can make it possible?

We invite the youth of India aged between 13-30 years to come forward and share their ideas or best practices that can be adopted by Children and Adolescents to lead a healthy lifestyle and attain good health.

Write your idea on a placard and submit a picture of your entry. Selected entries will be featured on Social Media platforms of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare by the end of this year.

Terms & Conditions:

• The contest is open for all citizens residing in India
• Participants should belong to the age group of 13-30 years
• The contest duration is from 27th Nov 2018 to 7th Dec 2018 (00:00 hrs)
• Multiple entries by a person and Group entries are not allowed
• All entries should be accompanied with the #MyIdeaofGoodHealth
• The entry must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
• Participant has to make sure that his/her MyGov profile is accurate and updated since MoHFW would be using this for further communication.
• This includes details such as name, photo and phone number.
• Entries with incomplete profiles would not be considered.
• Ministry of Health & Family Welfare or MyGov takes no responsibility for corrupted or late entries
• By entering your ideas, you grant Ministry of Health & Family Welfare the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution
