About the Organization

At the International Fund for Agricultural Development, we envision vibrant, inclusive and sustainable rural communities, where people live free from poverty and hunger. The best way to achieve this is by investing in small scale rural producers.

With these investments, rural people can take charge of their own future and produce enough nutritious food for their communities.

About the Grant

The LIVECOM grant will strengthen community-level capacity and regional cooperation on One Health in Thailand, Cambodia, Viet Nam and Laos by mapping risks and institutional responses, building inclusive multi-stakeholder platforms and piloting community initiatives on disease prevention, antimicrobial resistance, food safety and environmental health. It will provide training and extension support, generate knowledge products and lessons learned and facilitate South-South learning exchanges. The grant will also develop an investment strategy to guide IFAD and partners in scaling up effective community-based One Health approaches, while ensuring strong participation of women, youth and marginalized groups.
