About the Organization

MIT Water is the premier network for water research and innovation at MIT. Our mission is to bring together creative, passionate, and motivated individuals to explore ways by which research, innovation, and policy can help solve the most pressing challenges in the water sector.

We organize conferences, lectures, research showcases, outreach events, and entrepreneurship competitions throughout the year, including our three flagship events:The MIT Water Summit, MIT Water Innovation Prize &  MIT Water Night.

The MIT Food & Agriculture Club, often collaborating with the MIT Water Club, focuses on fostering sustainable, early-stage, student-led startups in the food, water, and agricultural sectors. They co-organize the annual MIT Water, Food & Agriculture Innovation Prize, providing mentorship and over $50,000 in grants to innovators.

About the Grant

The MIT Water, Food & Agriculture Innovation Prize brings together early-stage, student-led startups from across the US, awarding $50K+ in innovation grants annually to ventures driving the future of sustainable water, food, and agricultural solutions.
