Social Shifters is an international charity helping the next generation of young leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to tackle the world’s most pressing social and environmental issues in new ways.

Together, with a coalition of the world’s leading businesses, our award winning Global Innovation Challenge inspires action, develops essential leadership skills, and helps to accelerate the most impactful youth-led social startups on the planet.

About the Grant

The Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge supports youth-led social innovation globally that aligns with the Allianz Global Social Impact program, MoveNow, which is committed to empowering young people and strengthening resilience in underserved communities.

The Allianz x Social Shifters MoveNow Global Social Innovation Challenge will support youth-led projects and startups that align with any one of the following three award categories:

• Move the Mind - Financial Inclusion & Empowerment:Strengthening financial resilience with quality education, inclusive financial tools, and expanded opportunities for underserved communities.
• Move the Body - Health & Wellbeing in Communities:Engaging communities through physical activity, and advocacy for good health and wellbeing.
• Move Society - Climate Resilience:Supporting practical solutions to address climate-related social and environmental challenges faced by communities today.

Grant funding

Multiple awards of $5,000 and $10,000 USD will be available across each of our x3 main award categories (see above).
