The HCLTech Grant Edition XI Portal is now LIVE and invites applications for a committed fund of ₹ 24 Cr in thematic categories: Water, Biodiversity, Health, and Education.

We are pleased to announce that HCLTech Grant introduces 'Water' as a new category. HCLTech Grant will now recognize impactful work in four categories:  Water, Biodiversity, Health, and Education. The winning NGO in each of these categories will receive a grant of ₹ 5 Crore (~US$0.65 Million)  each for a four-year project. Eight runners-up NGOs will receive ₹ 50 Lakhs (~US$0.06 Million) for a two-year project. This significant increase in funding and project duration brings the total committed fund for the HCLTech Grant to ₹ 24 Crores (~US$2.9 Million).

Please note HCLTech Grant is designed only for rural areas. Whereas there are other programs of HCLFoundation which focusses on urban, peri-urban, and semi-urban areas.

HCLTech Grant : Empowering NGOs for Rural Transformation:

Started in 2015, the HCLTech Grant is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment by HCLTech, through HCLFoundation in India, to strengthen and empower NGOs, engage with them, as well as recognize them for their path-breaking work. The Grant is designed to support breakthrough award-winning projects of NGOs, that have a proven track record of evident impact, high credibility and distinct ability to deliver. NGOs that reach out to marginalized, isolated, underserved and underdeveloped rural communities in India, and work jointly to achieve sustainable socio-economic development.

This year we have a significant evolution of HCLTech Grant, the flagship programme which aims to achieve sustainable rural development by supporting NGOs that are doing path-breaking work, anywhere in India. Effective this year, the HCLTech Grant will empower more NGOs with increased funding and extended project timelines.
