CAF India invites NGOs/development organisations to submit Request for Proposal (RFP) to implement CSR activities for Sony Pictures Networks (SPN). The initiative by SPN is aimed to create an impact on the communities in Maharashtra and Delhi-NCR regions.

The last date to submit the proposal is 10th December, 2018.

The three thematic areas for this RFP are Education, Environment & Empowerment (with special focus on empowerment through music and sport).

Project Duration:

The proposed projects will start from April 1st 2019. They should be of one year duration. 

 

Project Budget:

Budgets for the proposed project should not exceed 15%of the application organisation’s average annual turnover over the preceding three financial years, and should be kept in the range of Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 1 crore.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

 

All proposals received by the stated closing date will be evaluated according to the conditions described in the selection criteria below. Each proposal will be evaluated based on the evidence of the following items:

General Instructions:

1)In response to this RFP, send a confirmation of your interest via email to rfp@cafindia.orgon an immediate basis

2)Submit the complete proposal inclusive of Project Template, Financial Template along with all supporting documents via email torfp@cafindia.orgby date 10th December, 2018

3)The soft copies of Project & Financial template should be embedded in one file (.ppt/.pptx)  and submitted. Please also submit detailed excel file with in-built formulae along with budget narrative

4)The email with subject line titled “Request for Proposal in ……. mention thematic area….  in …location…”.

5)NGOs to submit ONLY ONE proposal basis their domain expertise, in line with any one of the 3 thematic areas mentioned above.

6)Late/incomplete proposals will not be accepted in any circumstance. Proposals received after the due date and time will not be considered.

7)Only the short-listed NGOs will receive an acknowledgement. They will be called for a presentation, at their own cost. CAF India will inform about the date and venue well in advance.

8)Once a proposal is received before or on the due date and time, the selection committee will:

a)Evaluate all complete proposals objectively in line with the specified criteria

b)Selected NGOs will be informed by 19th December, 2018

 

9)Any query related to the same needs to be sent on the same ID

a)Confidentiality:

Information relating to the examination, clarification, comparison and evaluation of the RFP submitted will not be disclosed to any of the responding applicants or their representatives or to any other persons not officially concerned with such process until the evaluation process is complete.

 

b)Disclaimer:

  • CAF India reserves the right to withdraw this RFP, without assigning any reasons for the same.
  • The RFP submitted should be concise and contain only relevant information as required under this document. The applicant submitting the RFP would be responsible for all its expenses, costs and risks incurred towards preparation and submission of the RFP.
  • All RFP responses become the property CAF India and CAF India reserve the rights in its sole discretion to accept or reject any or all proposals and/or to annul the RFP process prior to award, without thereby incurring any liability or any obligation to inform the NGOs of the grounds for CAF India’s actions prior to contract award, and amend this RFP at any time
  • RFP, not an offer: This RFP represents only a definition of requirements. It is merely an invitation for submission of proposals and does not legally obligate CAF India to accept any of the submitted proposals.

 

Conflict Of Interest:

  • CAF reserves the right to reject any proposals which, in CAF India’s opinion, gives rise, or could potentially give rise to, a conflict of interest. 
  • With respect to this condition, please be advised that the organizations that may fall within the scope of this evaluation must disclose any association with the below :
  1. Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) India
  2. The Donor who is the primary funding source for the programmatic intervention.
