Introduction

Government of Gujarat has taken skill development initiative across the state under Gujarat Industrial Policy, 2015: Scheme for Enhancement of Technical Competence and Manpower. With this objective, “Scheme for enhancement of technical competence and manpower” has been introduced. The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) has been appointed as the nodal agency for smooth implementation of the scheme.

Scope of Work

The scope of work of the Third Party Assessment would be to conduct examination, assessment and certification of trainees trained at different centers of The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development.

Eligibility Criteria

The Applicant shall be University only (must be at least 5 years old). The university if selected will have to approve the courses/modules pertaining to vocational skills courses/ modules notified by NCVT/SCVT/Sector Skills Council, conducted under NVEQF, or recognized by any state or central government. The selected university will have to have a dedicated skill assessment/development centre with committed manpower to take care of the assessment of skill development courses completed by trainees spread all over Gujarat. The applicant will have to prove/give undertaking on what is aforesaid.
