Introduction

Across India, thousands of SHGs, FPOs, and rural entrepreneurs are being supported through government, philanthropies, and CSR programs to produce high-quality, community-rooted products. Yet, a common challenge persists — limited and inconsistent access to markets. Despite having the skills, capacity, and motivation, many groups struggle to find sustainable, scalable avenues to sell what they make.

Earthikaa seeks to address this challenge by serving as a dependable and thoughtfully curated market linkage platform for ethically produced agri and non-agri goods from rural India. With years of experience in building value chains and enabling market access for grassroots producers, our team understands the nuances of connecting rural craftsmanship with conscious consumers. Earthikaa is designed as a bridge — a shared brand that can help SHGs, FPOs, artisans, and rural entrepreneurs present their products to wider, more consistent markets. We see this as a collaborative journey and welcome producers who are looking to expand their reach, improve their visibility, and grow their livelihoods through a platform rooted in authenticity, sustainability, and cultural pride.

We now invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from eligible groups and collectives to be part of the Earthikaa producer network.

About Earthikaa

Earthikaa is a purpose-driven brand, designed to:

• Curate a range of agri and non-agri products including but not limited to grains, millets, spices, oils, honey, pickles, handicrafts, wellness goods, and textiles
• Offer thoughtful packaging and standardization without compromising on local uniqueness
• Share compelling stories of products, producers, and impact
• Build a scalable presence across D2C platforms and institutional/B2B gifting

Objectives of the EOI

• Onboard SHGs, FPOs, and rural entrepreneurs producing high-quality products
• Validate and assess products for quality, authenticity, and scalability
• Develop partnerships for branding, packaging, and centralized marketing support
• Enable income generation and visibility for rural producers through a shared national platform

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply:

• Registered Self Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)
• Rural producer collectives or registered cooperatives
• Individual rural entrepreneurs with a cluster/production setup

Preferred Product Categories (including but not limited to):

• Agri Products: Grains, millets, spices, oils, honey, pulses, etc.
• Processed Foods: Pickles, jams, snacks, preserves, etc.
• Non-Agri Goods: Handicrafts, home décor, textiles, wellness and herbal products, eco-friendly goods

Other Criteria:

• Must have an existing production capacity
• Must be open to quality enhancement and packaging support
• Preference for groups with women or tribal producers
• Previous sales experience (local, regional, or online) is an added advantage

Process & Next Steps

1. EOI Submission – Interested groups to fill in a short application form listing product categories, current scale, and production capacities.
2. Review & Product Assessment – Internal review of submissions, followed by product samples and quality checks.
3. Onboarding & Branding Support – Selected producers will receive support on packaging, branding, and marketing integration.
4. Market Integration – Products will be listed under the Earthikaa umbrella for D2C and B2B market access across India.
