EOI invites for Medic Mobile's mHealth Package for Maternal and Child Health

Medic Mobile’s free-of-cost Standard Package is an open-source, hosted software application with technology tools designed to improve antenatal care, postnatal care, and immunizations coordination in last-mile settings. It brings together our extensive experience in designing and implementing care coordination workflows with partners all over the world. The Standard Package contains mobile and web-based tools, resources, and support designed for community-based care and can be implemented by even the smallest organizations and clinics in challenging settings.

Request for Expressions of Interest

Medic Mobile welcomes partnerships with healthcare organizations who are aligned with our vision and mission to adopt our free Standard package and improve maternal, newborn and child health in last-mile communities around the world.

Eligibility: Any registered organizations with active community health programs delivering antenatal care, postnatal care and/or immunizations to communities.

Qualifying partner organizations will:

• Have an active community outreach program with a minimum of 10 community health workers that are well-monitored and supervised.
• Have a strong program manager or team who can train health workers, monitor and manage the mHealth program and liaise with Medic Mobile for additional support.
• Have at least 1 technical support staff to serve as the first line of technical assistance. Medic Mobile will provide basic remote training to this staff member.
• Have internet connectivity at the facility and/or program office, and mobile network connectivity in the community.
• Bear minimal program costs. While the Standard platform is free to use and partners receive free cloud-hosting, they are required to bear program costs such as SMS and data costs, and hardware as required. The platform requires the purchase of 1 android device to act as a gateway. Partners typically allow health workers to use their personal mobile devices for the program, but can also buy new devices if their budgets permit
