Expression of Interest (EoI) for evaluating technology platforms for Digital Classroom solutions for Govt. Elementary Schools within the State of Gujarat

Gujarat Informatics Limited (GIL) on behalf of Gujarat Council of Elementary Education (GCEE), Education Department, and Government of Gujarat invites EoI for evaluating technology platforms for Digital Classroom solutions in 6000 no’s of Government Elementary Schools within the State of Gujarat.

Interested agencies can download EoI and further amendments if any freely available on https://gil.gujarat.gov.in/  and submit the same physically at GIL on or before due date & time of the EoI.

Background details of existing Gyankunj Project:

Gujarat Council of Elementary Education (GCEE), Education Department, Government of Gujarat (GOG) has implemented Gyankunj project in 1609 no.s of schools. Gyankunj model was approved for pilot implementation in Classes along with following facilities :

• Wi-Fi Internet Connectivity at school
• Projector
• IR Camera
• Laptop
• Speaker
• White Board
• Wi-Fi Router
• LAN Switch with necessary LAN cabling
• Maintenance support for hardware through helpdesk

Objectives of EoI (Expression of Interest)

• Gujarat Council of Elementary Education (GCEE), Education Department, Government of Gujarat (GOG) intends to evaluate technology platforms for Digital Classroom solutions in 12,000 classrooms of 6000 Government Elementary Schools within the framework of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) to achieve following objectives:
• To enhance interactivity in teaching-learning process of classrooms and reinforce teaching, learning and assessment through school digitization with help of interactive system encompassing software and hardware.
• To enhance classroom interactivity through advancement in teaching-learning process for Teachers and Students
• To reinforce teaching, learning and evaluation process with use of latest technology.
• Indicative functionality of digital classroom:
• Teachers would be able to execute all pedagogy tactics (Do, Define, Demo, Evaluation) on solution proposed for enhanced delivery of curriculum.
• Use of e-Content provided by Gujarat Council of Elementary Education (GCEE) and Video Content telecast under e-Class project; at teachers-students comfort level
• Exploring utilization of all Educational Contents, Freeware, Open Source Resources, Online Resources, eContent Created / Tailored by teachers etc. with comfort to teachers up to complete understanding of all students
• Academic delivery through e-Contents, Audio-Visuals, Digital Textbooks which can be accessed offline (local host), online (Cloud based) as well as on local computer.
• The solution would attract Students to learn and grasp the curriculum with long-lasting knowledge. 

Technical Proposal submission:

As a part of EoI, the agency will have to submit a detailed technical proposal of offered solution which should include the following:

• Technical solution write-up
• Components of the solution
• Make & models of items along technical specifications
• Technical Literature/brochures of the offered solution along with Data Sheets.
• An estimated cost of the offered solution (with Warranty & Support terms).
• Details of Previous installation of the proposed solution ( if any), Documentary Proof, Work Orders etc.
