Expression of Interest for Hiring of Services for Mobilization and Handholding of Target Group of NSKFDC

“National Safai Karamchris Finance & Development Corporation” (NSKFDC), an Apex Corporation was set up for the socio economic development of Safai Karamcharis/Scavengers and their dependants through its various schemes.

The primary objective of NSKFDC is to eradicate terrible inhumane and evil practice of Manual Scavenging and to strengthen socio-economic development of Safai Karamcharis/Scavengers and their dependents by providing financial assistance in the form of various Loan Schemes and Training Programmes for upgrading their skills through State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs) nominated by State Governments/ UTs, Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and Nationalised Banks across the Country.

NSKFDC had invited Expression of Interest proposals for hiring of services for Mobilization and handholding of Target Group of NSKFDC by 7th Dec 2017. Considering that this is just an empanelment for associating hand holding agencies who can prove use full in increasing our financing of target group, the application received time has been extended up to 31/03/2018 and same will be open on 02/04/2018 at 11:00 AM. The other terms & conditions of EoI published on 17/11/2017 (copy available at our website www.nskfdc.nic.in) will remain the same.

NSKFDC has empanelled certain organisations for providing their services for mobilisation of the target group of NSKFDC i.e. Safai Karamcharis (including Waste pickers), manual scavengers and their dependants and assisting them in obtaining loans from banks. An incentive of Rs. 300/- is provided to these organisation for identification, application, sanction and disbursement of loan to the target group of NSKFDC.

With a view to give a boost to loaning to the target group, NSKFDC plans to empanel other not for profit Voluntary Organisations (VOs) and social workers attached to organisations working for the welfare of manual scavengers and safai karamcharis, as consultants on same terms as mentioned above at para 1.

Applications on the letter head of the organisations are invited, as per the format given below by 31st March 2018, from such interested organisations and individuals who can assist the target group in obtaining loans from banks and State Channelizing Agencies.
