Introduction:

Tech Mahindra Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Tech Mahindra. It was set up in 2007 as a Section 25 Company (referred to as Section 8 Company in the Companies Act, 2013), with a vision of Empowerment through Education.

The Foundation works in three key areas - Education, Employability and Disability. It has been running 120+ projects with 90+ partners across India. With these, the Foundation, has established itself as one of the leading CSRs in the country, which reaches out to almost 100,000 primary and 400,000 secondary/tertiary beneficiaries.

The Foundation’s programmes span twelve locations in India namely – Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Visakhapatnam. It operates through a New Delhi-based Corporate Office, city-based Chapters and a number of Project Offices.

Launched in May 2016, thefirst Tech Mahindra SMART Academy is working for training paramedics in Healthcare Sector. The Academy is a state-of-the-art training institute. It aims at creating a cadre of well qualified, trained professionals in the field of allied healthcare by providing high quality innovative and interactive training to young men and women keen to pursue a career in Healthcare. The second SMART Academywas launched in Nov, 2017 in Mohali. The third SMART Academy is launched in Dec, 2018in Mumbai.

The emphasis at all the Academies is on quality and all-round training, which lays the foundation of life-long learning as a powerful way to tap into potential employment opportunities for youth in difficult circumstances. Continuous upgradation, self-improvement and strong processes are part of the Academy’s core philosophy.

The Tech Mahindra SMART Academy for Healthcare offers 13 courses in paramedical space ranging from 6 months to 24 months duration.

Objective of the Assignment:

• Design and developcurriculum, lesson plans and assessment tools for Diploma course in Cardiac and critical care

Scope of work:

The detailed scope of the assignment for the development of curriculum for Diploma course in Cardiac and critical care for Tech Mahindra SMART Academy is outlined as follows:

• Development of scope and sequence document
• Competency and sub competency mapping for each module
• Design structured lesson plans each session at the Academy is 40 Minutes.
• Assessment tools and framework
• The lesson plan should be supported by Audio/Video wherever required
• The lesson plan should be interactive in nature with group/individual exercises
• The curriculum should have Student’s workbook, Facilitator Guidebook and PPTs (for each lesson plan)
• The total duration for curriculum will be 1200 Hours including practical and theory classes.

Timeline: This is a time bound assignment and must adhere to the following timeline.

Terms of payment:

• On submission of Scope and Sequence document -20%
• On Submission of draft curriculum-40%
• On Submission of Final Curriculum- 40% 

Eligibility Criteria:

• The agency/consultant should be working in the field of curriculum designingfor at least 5 years
• The agency/consultant should have worked onskilling projects
