Item rate tenders are invited through the e-tendering portal by Assistant General Manager (Engg-Civil)-IV, AAI, Trichy International Airport, Trichy - 620 007 (Bid Manager) on behalf of Chairman, A.A.I from the eligible contractors for the work of “Construction of Girls Toilet in Government Girls High Schools under CSR Project at Trichy. S.H : Civil & Electrical works” at an Estimated cost of Rs.28,61,300/- (Including 5 years maintenance period & GST) with a period of completion of 05 (Five) Months.

Tender fee of Rs.1,180/- (including GST) Non-refundable will be required to be paid offline in the form of Demand Draft from Nationalized or any scheduled bank (but not from Co-operative or Gramin bank). The original Demand Draft against Tender fee should reach by post / courier / given in person to the concerned officials, within 3 days of the last date of bid submission or as specified in the Tender Document. The details of Demand Draft / any other accepted instruments, physically sent, should tally with the details available in the scanned copy and the data entered during bid submission time.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Agency should have Permanent Account Number (PAN) and GST registration (GSTIN) valid on date of E-bid submission / Extended date of submission. The bidder shall submit undertaking for compliance of GST provision (Undertaking-I enclosed) in their company letter pad duly signed.
  • Agency should have valid Registration on the Date of issue of Tender in appropriate class of CPWD / MES / P&T / Railways / State PWD / PSU / Municipal Corporations & Development Authorities of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
  • Should have satisfactorily completed (Phase / Part completion of the scope of work in a contract shall not be considered, however pre-determined phasing of the work will be accepted) three works, each of Rs.11,44,520/- OR two works, each of Rs.14,30,650/- OR one work of Rs.22,89,040/- single contract of similar nature of work i.e. “Building works (Civil & Electrical works)”, during last seven years ending on date of E- Bid Submission / Extended date of Submission in India. 80% of civil work & 20% of Electrical works of completion cost shall be considered for tender evaluation or as desired by the Engineer-In-Charge. “The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of the work at simple rate of 7% per annum, calculated from the date of completion to the last date submission of bid” Client certificate for experience should show the nature of work done, the value of work, date of start, date of completion as per agreement, actual date of completion and satisfactory completion of work. Firms showing work experience certificate from non-government / non-PSU organizations should submit copy of Tax Deduction at Sources certificate in support of their claim for having experience of stipulated value of work.
  • Should have annualized average financial turnover of Rs.8,58,390/- against works executed during last three years ending 31st March of the previous financial year. As a proof, copy of abridged balance sheet along with profit and loss Account Statement of the firm should be submitted along with the application. Firms showing continuous losses during the last three years in the balance sheet shall be summarily rejected.

Mode of Submission of Original Tender Cost/ Fee and EMD Amount

Original Demand Draft (DD) of EMD and Tender Cost / Fee, hard copy of signed unconditional Acceptance of AAI's Tender Condition to be sent to O/o Assistant General Manager (Engg-Civil)-IV, Airports Authority of India, Trichy International Airport, Trichy - 620007 and should reach the bid Manager before the stipulated date and time. Tender of bidder whose original Tender cost, EMD and unconditional Acceptance are not received by the stipulated time as mentioned in the critical data sheet, then their bid will be summarily rejected. Any postal delay will not be entertained.
