Request for Proposal

For Selection of an agency as Skill Development Centre (SDC) operator and allotment of Skill Development Centre (s) for imparting skill training in select courses of the Tourism & Hospitality sector in 3 Hotels of Bihar.

Sealed proposals (Single Bid System) are invited from the eligible organizations who are technically competent and experienced, as per eligibility criteria specified in the RFP document, for operatingany or all Skill Development Centres (SDCs)of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) at (1) Hotel Kautilya Vihar, Patna (2) Hotel Lichhavi Vihar, Muzaffarpur and (3) Cafeteria & Resort, Maner, Patna. The scope of work includes “Imparting Domain Skilling Training under Tourism & Hospitality Sector, and consequent Placement and Follow-up of the youth of Bihar, as per Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) guidelines”.

Under this arrangement, the space will be allotted by BSTDC to suitable Applicant Organizations (AO/s) based on transparent criteria for setting up the infrastructure and imparting Domain Skill Training in the below mentioned courses as per the Model Curriculum and standards followed by Tourism & Hospitality Sector Skill Council (THSC) of India.

1) Tour Manager

2) Housekeeping Supervisor

3) Housekeeping Attendant (Manual Cleaning)

4) Front Office Associates

5) Food & beverages Service – Steward

Issuance of RFP:

Bids are invited from reputed agencies in the field of training especially in Tourism &Hospitality Sector. Proposal has to be submitted as a sole applicant only. Any form of consortium or joint venture is not allowed

Proposal Due Date

The proposal should be complete in all respect and must reach to the office of Managing Director, Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation Ltd, Government of Bihar at the address, time and date specified in the cover page of the RFP by hand/ courier/ speed post only. Incomplete responses or those received after the specified time and date or not fulfilling the specified requirement shall not be considered.
