RFP for Selection Of NGO For Conducting IEC Activities Under Swachh Bharat Mission In Nagpur City

The Health Officer(s) on behalf of Municipal Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur invited re-tender from experienced and reputed agencies for “selection of Agency (NGO) for Conducting Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Activities under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) in Nagpur City.”

Documents to be submitted for involvement of NGO for IEC activity under SBM shall be as follows:

• Legal Status: (Society/Trust)
• Registration Details:
• Bank Account Details of NGO: (Account No and Bank)
• Contact person: (including telephone and email id)
• Declaration that organization had not been blacklisted by Government /Semi
• Govt./Private organization.
• Key areas of work (Provide detail in not more than 2 pages)
• Key stakeholders:
• Geographical Area of Work:

Along with bid following documents are required to be submitted to Health Officer, NMC Nagpur.

1. Detailed Concept Note/Project Proposal on expected activities
2. NGO Registration Certificate
3. Audit Report of NGO for last three years
4. Annual Activity Chart for last three years
5. List of Governing Body Members
6. Detailed CV of Employees / NGO Staff
7. Documentary evidence of proof in support of major expected activity & criteria as stated in TENDER is must, if not found NMC may not consider such proposal.

Eligibility criteria of NGO

• Registered society and trust with the charity commissioner office under Maharashtra Public Trust Act.
• Balance sheet of last three years
• Experience of mobilizing communities in the slums
• Working with women, children and youth in the slums
• Organizing various awareness related programs in the slums
• Working with government schools and colleges
• Working on health issues
• Designing and distribution of IEC material.
• Past work experience with Urban Local Bodies (ULB) on issues of health and sanitation issue by the officer not below the Executive Engineer /Health Officer.
• Working experience of IEC Project under SBM for Government of India/State Government/ULB’s/SBM Garmin. Work order/Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or experience certificate is required to be provided as working officer by the officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer/Health Officer or/ Appropriate Authority in case of Government Organisation..
• Joint Venture/Consortium bidding is not allowed.
• Should not have been black listed in any ULB/Govt. organization
