Open E-Tenders are invited by RITES Ltd (A Government of India Enterprise), from working sub consultants (including sub consultants who have executed works within the last five years reckoned from the scheduled date of opening of tender) of Railways, CPWD, MES, DOT, RITES, State PWD or any other Central / State Government Undertaking, Municipal Body, Autonomous Body of Central/State Governments or Public Ltd., Companies listed on Stock Exchange in India or Abroad for the following work.
"Social Impact Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan including Land Acquisition Plan and Clearances” for preparation of Feasibility Study and Detailed Project Report for Redesigning, Rehabilitation and Up-gradation to 2-Lane/ 2- Lane with Paved Shoulder or its strengthening in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
Brief Scope of Work
The Brief Scope of Work to be performed by the Sub Consultant under the present tender is
"Social Impact Assessment and Resettlement Action Plan including Land Acquisition Plan and Clearances” shall be carried out by the sub-consultant meeting the requirements of the lending agencies like ADB/ World Bank/JICA, etc.
The social analysis study shall be carried out in accordance with the MORT&H/World Bank/ADB Guidelines. The social analysis report will, among other things, provide a socio-economic profile of the project area and address in particular, indigenous people, communicable disease particularly HIV/AIDS poverty alleviation, gender, local population, industry, agriculture, employment, health, education, health, child labour, land acquisition and resettlement .
Wherever required, sub-consultant shall liaise with concerned authorities and arrange all clarifications. Sub-consultant shall obtain ‘NO Objection Certificate’ from Ministry of Environment and Forest, State Pollution Control Board and also obtain the estimates for shifting of utilities of all types involved from concerned local authorities in the Feasibility Report and Detailed Project Report. Sub-consultant is also required to prepare all Land Acquisition papers (i.e. all necessary schedule and draft 3a, 3A, and 3D, 3G notification as per L.A. act) for acquisition of land either under NH Act or State Act (as applicable).
