Agra city is governed by Municipal Corporation which comes under Agra Metropolitan Region. The Agra city is located in Uttar Pradesh state of India. As per provisional reports of Census India, population of Agra in 2011 is 1,585,704; of which male and female are 845,902 and 739,802 respectively. Although Agra city has population of 1,585,704; its urban / metropolitan population is 1,760,285 of which 939,875 are males and 820,410 are females.

Scope of work:

The Employer as defined1 in Section II “Bidding Data Sheet” (BDS), invites bids for the Services, as described in the Appendix A to the Contract. The name and identification number of the Contract are provided in the BDS and the PCC.

The successful Bidder shall be expected to complete the performance of the Services by the Intended Completion Date specified in the BDS and the PCC.

Throughout these Bidding Documents:

• the term “in writing” means communicated in written form (e.g. by mail, e-mail, fax, telex) with proof of receipt;
• if the context so requires, “singular” means “plural” and vice versa; and
• “day” means calendar day.
