RFP invites for Supply of 2 NM Navigational LED lights (Solar operated) at Kolkata during 2018 to 2019 for installation from Kolkata to Rajmaha

Name of Work: - Tender document for the work of supply of 2 NM Navigational LED lights (Solar operated) at Kolkata during 2018 to 2019 for installation from Kolkata to Rajmahal stretch of National Waterway No. 1 (River Ganga). Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) invites On line tenders in two cover system (Cover I - Technical bid and Cover II - Financial Bid) from reputed & experienced contractors for the work of supply of 2 NM Navigational LED lights (Solar operated) at Kolkata during 2018 to 2019 for installation from Kolkata to Rajmahal stretch of National Waterway No. 1 (River Ganga). Bids shall be submitted online only at CPPP website https:\eprocure.gov.in /procure /app  Manual bids shall not be accepted and liable to be rejected. The Hard Copy of original instruments in respect of cost of tender document, earnest money, other documents in original as asked in this tender document must be delivered at the office of Director, IWAI, P-78, GARDEN REACH ROAD,KOLKATA – 700043 on or before 03.05.2018 at 1500 hrs. as mentioned in critical date sheet. Bidder shall likely to be liable for legal action for non-submission of original payment instrument like DD, etc., against the submitted bid. Demand Draft attached/submitted for tender fee shall be non refundable.

Terms & Conditions:-

The tenderer shall meet the following pre-qualification criteria:

The tenderer shall be registered with Central Public Works Department, Railways, MES, Port trust/concerned department and State PWD/ Irrigation Department or non-registered contractors having experience of working with IWAI.

Tenderer shall have Permanent Account Number issued by Income Tax Deptt.

Average annual financial turnover during last three years ending of the previous financial year, should be at least 30% of the cost. Experience of having successfully completed similar works i.e. Supply of 2 NM navigational LED lights (solar operated) or supply of navigational lights (solar operated) during last seven years ending last day of month previous to the one in which this tender is invited should be either of following:

(a) Three similar works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost; or

(b) Two similar works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost; or

(c) One similar work completed not less than 80% of the estimated cost

Tender Validity Period

The tender shall remain valid for a period not less than 90 days after the date of opening of tenders. Tenderer must read “ Information & Instruction for Tenders” and be satisfied himself in respect to scope and the situation of works or any issue as related to the work as considered necessary before the submission of the tenders.

The authority shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders and will not be bound to accept the lowest or any other offer.

The complete bid (hard copy) as per the tender document should reach the office of Director, Inland Waterways Authority of India, P-78, Garden Reach Road, Kolkata – 700043, on or before date & time of opening of tender. The technical bid will be opened on 04.05.2018 at 1530 hrs in the presence of intending bidders.

IWAI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
