Introduction

IFMR LEAD is soliciting proposals to identify a vendor qualified to plan, execute and deliver a new website for IFMR LEAD, which will replace its existing website (http://ifmrlead.org/). The goal of the new website is to increase our visibility among key stakeholders in the development sector, strengthen our brand presence, as well as project our organization and work in the right light.

IFMR LEAD requires a vendor who has demonstrated experience in managing website projects and expertise with best practices regarding successful website design, development, and deployment.

About IFMR LEAD

IFMR LEAD is an India-based non-profit research organization that conducts scalable action research and outreach to promote sustainable and inclusive development in India and other lowand middle-income countries.

The team at IFMR LEAD has extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale impact evaluations which comprise of quantitative, qualitative and mixed method approaches. IFMR LEAD’s research and policy focus areas include Financial Inclusion, MSME and Entrepreneurship, Infrastructure and Governance, Environment and Climate Change, Public Health, Agriculture, and Data Analytics.

IFMR LEAD is headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, with 9 field offices across India and projects across 17 states and has recently branched out to Bangladesh and Nepal. IFMR LEAD’s human resource strengths include an in-house team of more than 100 researchers and analysts, and a network of 400 plus trained field personnel. Project background

In recognition of the contribution that IFMR LEAD is making towards promoting inclusive and sustainable development for over a decade, we feel that the current website does not do justice to the work we do. We believe that there is an urgent need to change and develop an effective and attractive website that appeals to all those visiting it. Given the current trends in web design and the shift towards a minimalistic, user-friendly web interface, we believe that there is considerable scope to improve the presentation of information to our stakeholders in a more concise, interactive and user-friendly manner and improve their overall experience.

Hence, the need to develop and design a new website that will help improve our branding, image and visibility is a necessity.

Project goals

The goal of this project is to redesign the IFMR LEAD website so that:

  • it is easier to find content,
  • there is increased lead generation,
