Atmashakti is an NGO that works to leverage the  is seeking an Assistant HR Manager to help manage the Human Resource  and operations.

Job Description:

Your role is to act as the liaison between Executive Trustee  and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries.

Following our training sessions, you will also be able to assist Executive Trustee and Programme Directors with recruitment (e.g. on boarding process for new hires, etc)

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department is organized and operates to attract, hire and maintain our employee relationships

As assisstant manager of Human Resources, you will:

  • Conduct capacity building trainings and ignite the team spirit.
  • Provide administrative support to Executive Trustees and employees
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance and evaluations etc)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and note minutes of meetings
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulation of employee bonuses.


  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
  • Orient new employees about the work ethics and organisation ideologies.
  • Compile and update employee records.
  • Document needs and patterns of employee behavior to help them work efficiently.









 Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and Masters degree in Human Resource or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR management
  • Computer literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with  ATS software and resume databases
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Detail oriented and organized; Strong planning and prioritization abilities
  • General Knowledge regarding laws and advocacy.
  • Should have Counselling and guidance skills and a strong potential for negotiation.
  • Eliminating the risk and damage of employment litigation
  • Streamlining people and paper systems to achieve operational efficiency.
