Job Description

Are you passionate about clean energy, finance, and sustainability? Do you thrive in intellectually stimulating environments where research, innovation, and strategic outreach are key? If so, CSI is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Analyst to contribute to our growing impact.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As an Analyst/Sr Analyst at CSI, you will be pivotal in driving research, financial assessments, and policy-oriented insights. Your key responsibilities will include:

Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative research on sustainability, finance, and policy trends.
• Develop financial models and evaluate value-added potential across various sectors.
• Analyse business, financial, and regulatory trends, translating data-driven insights into policy recommendations.
• Engage with industry experts and organisations (both public and private) to assess sectoral trends and challenges.

Thought Leadership & Content Development

• Craft high-quality research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and thought pieces.
• Ensure rigorous analytical standards in all outputs to support decision-making for governments, investors, and industries.

Stakeholder Engagement & Program Support

• Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders to facilitate access to data and insights.
• Assist in the implementation of CSI’s projects, events, and communication strategies.
• Support knowledge-sharing activities, including collaborative meetings and training workshops.
• Enhance CSI’s outreach using new media platforms, ensuring wider dissemination of our work.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
• Additional qualifications (CA/CFA) or degrees in Engineering, Sustainability, or Energy are a plus.

Professional Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or financial institutions.
• Prior exposure to clean energy and sustainability is highly desirable.
• Experience in stakeholder management would be an advantage.
