Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team! As an Analyst at Gender Equality and Social Inclusion practice of MSC, you will lead large-scale data analysis, leveraging your expertise in data visualisation and gender analysis tools. Your role will be crucial in driving our mission forward by delivering top-notch services to our clients, addressing specific project needs. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills continuously, specializing in domains that align with your interests.

Job Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager holds a crucial position in furthering MSC's goals by providing exceptional services to clients, catering to the unique requirements of projects and situations. They assist the team leader by overseeing tasks or work streams within projects or assignments, with a primary emphasis on offering technical support across different domains.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Assist consulting projects focused on women’s socio-economic inclusion and empowerment.
  • Conduct research to compile, analyse, and interpret gender and Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE) data.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on research findings.
  • Coordinate with different departments and country teams at MSC to address gender-related issues.
  • Provide strategic insights to ensure effective identification and resolution of gender concerns.
  • Create and submit proposals to attract new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation of tool kits and publications aimed at enhancing MSC's resources.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree from a recognized university or college
  • Specialization options: rural management, development studies, social work, entrepreneurship, finance, economics, or related fields.

Any Other requirements:

  • Experience in conducting gender analysis of data preferred.
  • Ability to perform sex-disaggregated data collection desired.
  • Familiarity with gender planning is a plus.
