About the Organization
Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.
Job Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end HR operational support, documentation management, coordination of recruitment and onboarding processes, training facilitation, and administrative logistics. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and systematic recordkeeping is essential.
- Assist the Human Resource Manager in managing all HR functions at the NHSRC Office and overseeing all HR activities of its branch offices.
- Maintain and organize both physical and electronic HR files with complete and systematic documentation.
- Having a good knowledge of Office Procedure, Noting and Drafting.
- Manage HR store records and ensure accurate filing of each official note/memo.
- Screening of applications, printing applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding formalities.
- Printing and data management of temporary and permanent ID cards.
- Support probation monitoring, contract renewals, and exit formalities.
- Assist in payroll coordination, leave tracking, and group insurance processes (Medical & Personal Accident).
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation for audits (ISO/ISQua compliance).
- Assist in the induction programs and onboarding via platforms such as IGOT.
- Process bills, including HR advertisements, and manage logistics for panel members and HR travel arrangements.
- Leverage strong MS Excel skills to manage HR databases/HRMIS, generate reports, and track employee records efficiently.
- Working experience in the Government / Social Sector.
- Undertake any other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time by the Human Resource Manager, Principal Administrative Officer, or the Executive Director, NHSRC.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- B.Com/B.A/BBA from a recognized university/institution with a Minimum of 5 years of postqualification work experience in HR administrative work in Social Sector, INGO or Government institution.
Desirable Qualifications
- In addition to the above a Diploma/ Certification in Computer Application to cover MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database management, and Access would be desirable.
- Knowledge and experience of governmental recruitment, documentation, filing & correspondence process in Human Resource Management will be preferred.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure and should be a team player.
- Formal educational qualifications & Experience could be relaxed for suitable candidates
Salary
Between Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/-
