Consultant Sector Specialist Skills

About the Organisation:
Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), an autonomous society under Rural Development Department, Govt. of Bihar has been designated as State Rural Livelihoods Mission by Rural Development Department, Government of Bihar to scale up the "JEEViKA" model in all 534 Blocks of 38 Districts in Bihar under National Rural Livelihood Mission. Apart from this, BRLPS is also implementing Satat Jeevikoprajan Yojna (SJY). Under Satat Jeevikoparjan Yojna (SJY), a Project Management Unit (PMU) has to be established. This PMU will provide support in program management, capacity building, livelihood promotion, asset transfer and convergence with govt programs.

Eligibility:

• PG degree in Mass Communication or PG degree in Management ог PG Diploma in Management or PG degree in Social Work or PG degree in Rural Management or PG degree in Rural Development.
• Minimum post qualification work experience of 5 years in the area of skilling.

Key Responsibility:

• He/she will be responsible for integrating skill development-related activities, convergence with initiatives implemented by state and central government agencies, including RSETIS, BSDM, DDUGKY, BIPARD, Skill Park and private sector agencies.
• He/she will design and develop skill upgradation plans for SJY households.
