Job Description

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

We are now looking for a Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) Specialist for SMRTIPL who will be responsible for overall planning and execution of CSR activities. The location for this position is Pune and you will report to the Marketing Manager, India.

Job Responsibilities

As CSR Executive, your main responsibilities are-

  • Sandvik Safety & Environment Policy’s, Systems and Programs are understood and communicated to all direct reports. Be familiar with and comply with proper health and safety practices and Visibly and personally participate in safety activities to show safety's importance. Sandvik Customer receives appropriate information regarding Sandvik EHS Policy, philosophy, performance and standards
  • Requires all subcontractors and contractor personnel to comply with applicable safety regulations
  • The primary responsibility is to create and implement the organization’s social responsibility objectives.
  • To be responsible for projecting Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions as an involved, responsible and forward-thinking corporate.
  • Planning and Managing the community programmes to ensure that they benefit the local communities as well as aligned to Company objectives.
  • Assisting the Marketing head in developing, managing and altering social responsibility policies.
  • Using internal communication to reinforce the company’s social responsibility policies.
  • Reaching out to the media to deliver the message of the company’s commitment to social responsibility.
  • Working on company branding strategies with the marketing head in order to leverage CSR.
  • To manage and adhere to the CSR budget in order to ensure maximise returns and benefits.
  • Should be able to manage and maintain CSR reports for BODs.
  • To maintain an ongoing relationship with the community programs that Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology is sponsoring
  • Complete charge of Global CISD(Community Initiatives sponsorships and donations) App right from creating the project details, due diligence of implementing partners, project tracking project approvals and also monitoring and reporting mechanism
  • A lead for employee engagement and encouraging them to participate in CSR activities in order to enhance the brand credibility and sense of belonging.
  • Maintaining the financial record for each project, close monitoring against sanctioned fund and assisting marketing and CSR lead for reporting during compliance meetings.
  • In addition support to marketing and communication team as and when required in Marcom activities.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree, and ideally an advanced degree, such as a Mass Communications or Public Administration/Relation or Masters in Social Working. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, branding, CSR. Should have planned and executed CSR projects.
