Job Description

The FRSN Operations Coordinator will play a key role in the overall operation of FRSN by coordinating with external and internal stakeholders, managing work plans, monitoring budgets, ensuring timely deliverables, and assisting in preparing presentations and reports for funders and government partners. This individual will be responsible for documenting meetings and maintaining clear communication channels within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of FRSN projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with track leads, thematic leads and regional heads to develop and implement work plans and monitor progress towards goals and objectives.
  • Manage the overall work plan of FRSN, ensuring alignment with FRSN’s objectives and timelines.
  • Review activities versus budget allocations, identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for funders and government partners, providing accurate and timely information as required.
  • Document meetings, including capturing action items, decisions, and follow-up tasks, and distributing meeting minutes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain organised records and documentation related to FRSN projects and activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within FRSN operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s or Bachelors degree in business administration or social work, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations coordination, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing as a proactive team member.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector or a similar environment is preferred.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
