Established as a Charitable Trust on 27 November, 1969, WWF India set out with the aim of reducing the degradation of Earth’s natural environment and building a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. In 1987, the organization changed it's name from the World Wildlife Fund to World Wide Fund for Nature India. With five decades of extensive work in the sector, WWF India today is one of the leading conservation organizations in the country.

Job Description

As an Acquisition Officer at WWF India, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's growth by acquiring new donors and building strong relationships with existing ones. Your expertise in sales, marketing, client interaction, negotiation, and effective communication will be crucial in meeting our objectives. Here are the key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new donors and expand the organization's reach.
• ​To generate revenue from acquisition data.​
• Identify and engage with potential donors through various channels, including networking events, cold calling, and online platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through regular communications and meetings.
• Provide an exceptional experience and address any concerns or issues raised by the donor promptly.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate/ Post Graduate/ MBA from any recognized University.
• Excellent English communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them.
• Highly performance-oriented and ability to work in a team.
• Energy and drive to inspire people and promote WWF-India's work.
• Ability to successfully balance priorities while managing multiple tasks.
