Job Description

To meet these demands, YuWaah UNICEF is onboarding a Consultant – P2E Skilling, who will play a pivotal role in:

• Anchoring existing skilling interventions and driving program expansion
• Designing new skilling initiatives aligned with employment pathways
• Supporting long-term sustainability through government integration and adoption
• Support managing relationships with implementation and government partners
• Support program monitoring, data management, and reporting
• Contributing to communication, documentation, and knowledge products

This consultant will serve as a key member of the P2E team, ensuring seamless implementation and delivery of outcomes across various workstreams and partner engagements.

Job Responsibilities

Anchor and scale existing skilling initiatives under the P2E program to reach a wider base of young people, especially adolescent girls and marginalized youth.

• Design and implement new skilling interventions that are demand-driven, future-ready, and aligned with employment and entrepreneurship pathways.
• Support government integration and adoption of skilling models to ensure long-term sustainability and systemic impact.
• Coordinate effectively with implementation and government partners to ensure timely rollout, quality delivery, and alignment with program objectives.
• Support program monitoring and data management efforts, ensuring accurate tracking of outputs, outcomes, and reporting to donors and stakeholders.
• Develop high-quality communication and documentation materials, including case studies, reports, briefs, and knowledge products to showcase program impact.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Communication, Education, Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, Social Works, Youth/Community Development
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project/program management in any one of the following areas - skilling, school education, ed-tech, youth development.
• Experience in working with senior government officials and external stakeholders.
• Experience in designing and delivering skilling, training, capacity building solutions.
• Proficient with tech platforms and tools related to skilling, learning, reporting, data analysis, etc.
