About the Organization

NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NABARD that provides consultancy in agriculture, rural development, and allied areas, leveraging NABARD's core competencies in projects, banking, infrastructure, and training. It functions as a development consulting firm with a pan-India presence, working with various government ministries, state governments, and international agencies. NABCONS offers services like project planning and execution, and its work includes areas such as climate change, microfinance, and natural resource management.  

Job Responsibilities

• To assist the PMU in implementation of Aquaculture Insurance.
• Deals with all matters related to insurance within the project, including assessing insurance needs, procuring appropriate insurance coverage, managing insurance claims, and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
• To provide data and reports on Insurance policy, claims experience, and other key metrics to management.
• Collaborating with all stakeholders across departments, functions, and levels of the organization related to implementation of Aquaculture Insurance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• MBA with 5 years of Experience in the field of insurance, designing insurance products etc.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines
• Preference would be given to candidate worked with international organizations like World Bank, ADB, AFD, KFW, GIZ etc.
