Job Description

The Centre for Social and Economic Progress is looking for a motivated individual interested in leading and executing fundraising strategies across various channels, including foundations, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and engaging high net-worth individuals (HNIs).

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organisation’s goals and mission.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with foundations, corporations, and HNIs to secure funding and support.
• Lead the creation of compelling grant proposals, presentations, and other fundraising collateral.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and partners, ensuring effective stewardship and retention strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to align fundraising efforts with programmatic needs.
• ·Research and identify new funding opportunities, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Analyse fundraising data and metrics to evaluate performance and inform future strategies.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2-3 years of progressive experience in fundraising, particularly across Foundations (Indian and International), CSR, and engaging HNIs.
• Proven track record of successfully securing funding and meeting fundraising goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and steward donors.
• Exceptional writing abilities with experience in crafting compelling grant proposals and donor communications.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative fundraising initiatives.
• Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
