About Vasundhara: Vasundhara is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation focused on natural  resource governance and sustainable forest-based livelihoods. We mainly engage in research and  policy analysis, capacity building, and community-based forest management systems, particularly  concerning the Forest Rights Act, 2006. 

Role Overview: The Program Coordinator (National) will coordinate Vasundhara's national-level  programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering partnerships across states and  with state governments and civil societies. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate national-level projects and initiatives. 
• Build and maintain partnerships with state-level and national stakeholders. 
• Ensure compliance with project objectives and deliverables. 
• Develop reports and presentations for national forums. 

Qualifications: 

• Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development, or a related field. 
• At least 5 years of experience in program coordination. 
• Proficiency in English and Odia; familiarity with Hindi is desirable. 

Skills and Competencies: 

• Strong coordination and organizational skills. 
• Ability to manage partnerships and stakeholder relationships. 
• Effective reporting and documentation abilities. 

Duration: Initial contract for 1 year with 6 months (probation), renewable based on performance  and fund availability. 

Reporting: Team Leader, Tenure and Tenurial Security 

Remuneration: Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 85,000 pm based on experience and suitability as a consolidated  salary.Tax will be deducted at source as applicable.
