Job Summary:

1.    Design Transformation Strategies and OD Interventions

  • Identify and scope client’s needs and design organization development programs
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to assess current state and identify key levers of change
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, district hospitals, and ANMTC to identify healthcare needs and develop program strategies.
  • Develop scalable and replicable programs, methodologies, tools and templates for OD interventions based on leading best practices and client needs
  • Develop transformation approaches, strategies and roadmaps that integrate the various OD interventions into a single, systemic framework; work with Operations teams to tailor these strategies

2.    Manage Government Stakeholder & change in partnership

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government health service providers/officials, and community leaders.
  • Influence internal and external partners to support implementation of solutions
  • Engage & build knowledge partnerships
  • Capacity building of SPL/PL/Gandhi Fellows to design solutions in collaboration with technical partners.

3.    Develop People

  • Hire, develop, motivate, and retain the team & the wider OD community in PF
  • Develop scalable processes for team development
  • Create safe space and processes for problem solving, communication, and collaboration

4.   Execute Change

  • Work closely with Operations teams to successfully execute the end to end transformation roadmap and related OD interventions
  • Design and execute Transformation Management and Program Management Office frameworks, practices, tools and templates

Desirable Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s level degree in Management / Public Health / Social Work / Development Studies
  • 08-12 years of experience in healthcare or institutional reform with national government bodies or has worked closely with government health system earlier.
  • Knowledge of Indian public health system and Govt health programmes, familiarity of challenges at ground level
  • Significant experience in managing and advising government stakeholders with large scale transformation
  • Ability to work with and coordinate between different government healthcare cadres

Essential Skills:

  • Passion for service and social impact, especially in the space of public health systems
  • Frequent travel to district level and other states across India while being based in Patna
  • Readiness to learn, un-learn, and re-learn while adapting a dynamic work environment and needs
  • Comfort with taking up new and complex problems, applying everyday learning and insights, and solving through collaboration
  • Deep and practical understanding of domain areas such as HR strategy, HR function effectiveness, talent assessment, career paths, organization design, learning strategies, performance management, rewards, culture, HR technology, change management
  • Ability to lead and nurture program teams
  • Ability to write project reports and contribute to academic papers.

Travel:

Program Manager will be based in Patna with frequent travel of 10-15 days in a month.
