Position: Programme Officer - Family Focused Village Development Program (FFVDP), Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu

Workplace: Remote/home based with extensive travel to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha

Preference: Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu based candidates

Contract Period: 1 year with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

Salary: INR 40,000/ per month and travel on actuals

Reporting to: Directorate India

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently coordinate and execute tasks as directed by the Directorate India, in support of the Family Focused Village Development Program in the respective states
  • Foster close collaboration with the Director of Credibility Culture to cultivate trusted relationships with partners, ensuring that NGOs uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Aid NGOs in instilling accountability across their teams, establishing a foundation of trust and credibility among stakeholders.
  • Facilitate NGOs in showcasing professionalism and elevating the program's credibility.
  • Assist NGOs in integrating stakeholders into decision-making processes pertaining to the program.
  • Accompany the Directorate India during monitoring, review, and evaluation visits.
  • Offer precise translation support to the Directorate India.
  • Contribute to the organization of workshops, events, and knowledge-sharing platforms in conjunction with the Directorate India.
  • Actively participate in events hosted by the Directorate India and attend its meetings.
  • Ability to travel across India to fulfil FFVDP's requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Holds a Master’s Degree in Social Science
  • Possesses a minimum of 3-5 years of developmental experience with a reputable national or international NGO.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English and respective regional language
  • Displays a strong preference for being a native Andhra Pradesh / Tamil Nadu resident.
  • Capable of functioning independently.
  • Demonstrates effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • A high level of integrity and commitment, as well as social skills and a participative attitude
  • Familiarity and proficiency in community engagement.
  • Proficient in utilizing Participatory Rural Appraisal techniques.
  • Holds an understanding of the current development scenario and the ability to adapt accordingly.
